random |ˈrandəm|
adjective
1 made, done, happening, or chosen without method or conscious decision: a random sample of 100 households.
• Statistics governed by or involving equal chances for each item.
• (of masonry) with stones of irregular size and shape.
2 informal odd, unusual, or unexpected: I find it impossible to not laugh at such a random guy.
I've been thinking - at random. Remembering the past. And noticing things now. Wanting to note them, and share them. In more words than a reasonable Facebook post.
Arranged in paragraphs.
Mostly, I think, in prose. But sometimes in poetry.
A few years ago I had a blog. But Facebook came along, and I quit posting to it. I'm working on moving some posts from that blog over here.
I had to name this thing. "Random Jasper" sounds fine. Jasper's my dog. He's better looking than me, and a million times sweeter.
He's also been rather expensive. But that's a story - really it's several stories - for another time. For tonight I'll be glad to get a decent template and my first bits of content, and publish this new blog.
